Three Year Olds

For this group we would introduce them to concepts such as colors, shapes, letters, cutting and gluing skills, while remembering to make learning fun. Readiness skills will be taught for reading and math as well. All activities are creative and child centered. They will be developmentally appropriate.

Four & Five Year Olds

For this group we will expose them to developmentally appropriate readiness skills such as pre-reading, reading, writing, math, science, and different sensory experiences. Our goal is to make each child secure in their abilities to begin kindergarten.

Both Groups

We will use large and small group activities and center-based learning opportunities. Team teaching will be utilized in the classrooms. In addition to areas of academic concern, we will also introduce and reinforce Bible knowledge. The teachers will plan for active and interactive learning, teacher directed and child initiated activities, indoor and outdoor work and play. A regular routine will be established and followed. Many more types of learning experiences will be incorporated throughout the year such as special guests, and/or field trips. Class size will be small student to teacher ratios.
